How to Get to UP Cebu
From OF8 Facebook page: UP Cebu is located along Gorordo Avenue. For those who are taking their own cars, parking space is at the Arts and Sciences Building across the venue, beside the classy-looking building that’s called the Sugbu Cultural Center. Only UP faculty and staff are allowed to park on the event grounds on the day itself.
Jeepneys with 04 and 17 designations ply the Lahug area, and are sure to pass by UP Cebu. You are encouraged, but not limited, to choose any of the following routes to take in order to get to your destination:
17B (IT Park/Lahug-Carbon-IT Park-Capitol-Jones-Colon)
17C (IT Park/Lahug-Carbon-IT Park-Gorordo-Mango-Ramos-Sanciangko)
For example, if you are from Mandaue, take any 21A/21B/20A/20B jeep and get off at Mabolo (intersection across Andok’s) to board a 04L. You may also take a jeep going to SM, then take the door near French Baker/V-Hire entrance of SM and board a 04L from that side. From Colon, Carbon, or Mango Avenue, you may take a 04C/17C headed for Gorordo/Lahug.
Or if you still have no idea where else to go, your best bet is to ride a jeep from your place to Ayala, and wait for a 04M if there’s no available one yet . They’re a rare species. You may also choose to go to SM and take a 04L from there.
